Launa Eddy is a New York–based sculptor and producer known for her large-scale surrealist installations. Originally from coastal New England, she earned a BA in Anthropology before moving to downtown Manhattan, where she’s lived and worked for over 20 years.

Her formative years were spent working on offshore fishing boats and growing up in a household that raised timber wolves—an unusual upbringing that sharpened her instinct for tension, grit, and wild beauty. Eddy’s practice plays with contrasts: rigid steel shaped into fluid forms, dreamlike ideas grounded in hands-on techniques.

Today, she creates monumental sculptures and immersive environments that bridge the worlds of fabrication, fine art, and storytelling—inviting curiosity, interaction, and a sense of the surreal in everyday spaces.
